Abyss is a free Custom modification for the multiple Award winning game: Portal 2 created by Team Abyss. Abyss aims to give a new game experience to the players by introducing a custom story based on multiple choices with a darker theme than Portal 2. It could be seen as an Horror game by itself due to it really dark tone which can be creepy by time. However it is not aimed to scare you. It’s important to understand that the storyline isn’t canon to the original game, Instead, we decided to make our own for creating a deeper and unique experience. One unique aspect of Abyss is the Multiple stories. There are 3 distinct paths in which you can follow. Each of these paths offers a different take of the story and multiple endings.
Abyss offer a slightly different gameplay than most of the Portal 2 modifications out there. We also create dynamics puzzles by mixing Half Life 1 & 2 and Portal’s design which we think will add some difficulty while remaining simple.
